Another new client this week in the guise of Animazoo, a Hove-based company which designs, manufactures and sells motion capture suits and sensors from their base down by the sea. Motion capture is used by animators, filmmakers, television companies, the games industry as well as those studying or researching ergonomics and biomechanics and the new and exciting area of augmented reality. Gyros at key points on the body allow software to capture the movement of that point through 3D space, and this movement track can then be applied to wireframes, animated characters, or just analysed to extract useful data about the way bodies move. Together with our lovely model Fiona Jane, Animazoo spent a very productive day with us shooting their product range for their web site & marketing materials, and were delighted with the space, facilities and helpful staff.
