Introduction to Studio Lighting
This course is designed to get you comfortable with and in charge of studio lighting. From understanding the equipment, metering and aperture selection, the effects of correct and incorrect positioning, to achieving the desired result.
The theory is explained in plain English and demonstrated practically, enabling you to grasp all the important concepts quickly. This means you can spend more time practising.
The course will teach you about the qualities of light and the use of various light modifiers.
During the course you will gain experience of directing a model and an assistant in a very friendly environment, helping you to build your confidence and technique.
With small class sizes, the time can proceed at a pace to suit you and your learning style. If you wish to use your own DSLR you’re very welcome, or you may consider hiring a studio camera.
